The Cyborganic Gardens
1994-1996

I was a founder of the Cyborganic Gardens, a pioneering community-based website that provided tools for geeks to meet on- and off-line. It is now defunct.

As the Design Director I was responsible for all web, print, and promotional materials as well as overall strategy for the company. In addition, I worked with architect Eugene Tsui on designs for an internet cafe (one of the first of its kind).

The Cyborganic community was profiled in a 1995 issue of Rolling Stone magazine (we were called by them "Ground Zero of the Digital Revolution"). Cyborganic Gardens is cited in many web design and web development publications, including cnet's Best of the Web.
